“Everyone may be dealing with some level of trauma, so BE KIND and build strong support systems that breed success”

Stillhere Celebrates 10 Years of Empowering Youth

We are thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Stillhere: The Village, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing violence among at-risk youth by creating safe spaces for healing, growth, and success.

A Mission Born from Personal Experience

Founder and President Brandi Robinson knows firsthand the devastating impact of violence. When her partner - the father of her son - was shot and left in a vegetative state, she was just a youth herself, suddenly facing unimaginable loss.

"Five years in, I said, I have to do something, because my son wasn't the only kid in the neighborhood dealing with this - dealing with gun violence, with a parent outside the household," Brandi recalls. "I wanted to be an advocate for them. Our kids need a voice. They need a safe space."

From Grassroots Initiative to Nonprofit

What started as a grassroots movement in New York City has since grown into a full-fledged nonprofit, officially established in 2023. Over the past ten years, Stillhere has expanded its impact through structured programs, mentorship, and community partnerships. Our services are backed by mental health professionals, finance experts, and advisory boards - including Re-entry and Youth Advisory Boards - to provide holistic support.

We proudly collaborate with Mercer County Community College and local public schools, fostering a community-driven approach to youth empowerment.

Join the Village

“Stillhere has become an abundance of love and resources that our village is willing to pour into this mission—this mission where everyone feels accepted no matter what,” Brandi states. “A mission where people can release and lower their guards, and truly begin the healing process. Being part of someone's healing journey is unmatched.”

It takes a village to create a better world for our youth, and we are grateful for ten years of impact in NYC and Mercer County.

Stillhere is always looking for referrals, volunteers, and donations to continue this mission. If you'd like to get involved, please contact stillhra@gmail.com.
